Xochilt Artemiza Perez Gutierrez was born in Mexicali, Baja California on July 1, 1962 to Raul Perez Valenzuela and MarÌa Hermenegilda Gutierrez Lopez. Xochilt was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. Xochilt was a wonderful mother to five lovely women in which she instilled her values like the love of family, discipline, respect and perseverance. She enjoyed every beautiful moment with her grandchildren that she adored with all her heart. She welcomed everyone who came to her home and had a smile that would light the neighborhood. She was a person of kindness, gentleness and compassion which will be greatly missed. Xochilt entered eternal life on December 2, 2016. Xochilt is survived by two step-children, Javier Michel and Christina Avila; five daughters, Johanna Saucedo, Ivette Michel, Umaya Michel, Jasmin Michel, and Crystal Torre-Michel; 15 grandchildren, one great-grandson, nine sisters, five brothers, cousins, nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home, Shafter on Wednesday, December 7, at 10am followed by a service at 1pm. Pastor Moises Ochoa of the Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal will officiate and interment will follow at Shafter Memorial Park. Xochilt era una maravillosa madre a cinco bellas mujeres a quien inculco sus valores como el amor a la familia, el respeto, la disciplina y la perseverancia. Disfruto cada momento hermoso con sus nietos que ella adoraba con todo su corazon. Su familia hermosa es la herencia de su precioso espÌritu y la extraoaremos profundamente. Ella dio la bienvenida a todos los que vinieron a su casa y tenía una sonrisa que iluminaría el vecindario. Ella era una persona de bondad, dulzura y compasión que será grademente estranada. Xochilt entro a la vida eterna el 2 de Diciembre del 2016. Xochilt sobreviven dos hijastros, Javier Michel y Christina Avila; cinco hijas, Johanna Saucedo, Ivette Michel, Umaya Michel, Jasmin Michel, y Crystal Torre-Michel; 15 nietos, un bisnieto, nueve hermanas, cinco hermanos, primos, sobrinos y sobrinas. La visita será en la Capilla de la Casa Funeraria Peters en Shafter el Miércoles, 7 de diciembre a las 10am seguido por el servicio a la 1pm. Pastor Moisés Ochoa de la Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal oficiara y en entierro será enseguida en el Cementerio Memorial de Shafter.
