William Harvey Whitesel, a 10-year resident of Landers, died Dec. 12, 2008, at home. He was 70 years old. A native of Blue River, Wisc., he was born Sept. 13, 1938, to Williams Whitesel and Freda Robieson. He served in the United States Navy. Mr. Whitesel was preceded in death by four brothers and his parents. He is survived by his sister, Sara Larsen, of Sister Bay, Wisc.
