William Eugene Cummings was born on March 22, 1937, in Altus Oklahoma. William died on January 22, 2018, Visalia, California. He was preceded in death by his parents Allie Mack and Lottie Jane Cummings, sisters Lois Osborn and Charlene Parsons, and brothers Allie Mack Cummings, Ray Cummings, and Earl Cummings. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Jane Cummings; son Craig Cummings, his wife Kathy and their children Macie, Molly, and Gracie; son Brent Cummings and his wife Teresa, and their children Makenna, Cody, and Brooke, his daughter Michelle Bergman and her husband Josh Bergman, and their children Payton, Alicia, Emily, and Jayden; and his sister Laverne Hiebert. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's name to Shafter Mennonite Brethren Church Youth. The funds will be use to send Shafter youth to Hartland Christian Camp.
