William J. Brown was born in Boston, Massachusetts, to Eunice and William Brown, Jr. He graduated from Lake Worth High School, Florida with the Class of 1952 and continued his education at Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He served his country in the US Marine Corp in 1954 and followed with reserve duty. He worked as a design engineer for Jacobs Engineering in Pasadena designing pressure vessels for 30 years. William was a car buff and enjoyed keeping up with the latest trends. William moved to Wasco 14 years ago to be near his son. William is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Virginia Harris. He is survived by his sons, Robert Brown of Wasco, Mike Brown of Vacaville, Jeff Brown and his wife Kathy of Concord, grand-daughter Kayla Rose Brown and nephew Mason Harris. A military honors service will be held at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery on a date to be announced for William Jefferies Brown, III, age 75, of Wasco, who passed away October 28, 2009. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Cross or Salvation Army in his name.
