WANDA LEE ALBERT GALBREATH September 30, 1927 - January 1, 2007 Wanda Lee Albert Galbreath was born September 30, 1927 in Delano, California to Robert E. Lee and Vestell Williams. She grew up in Pond and was educated at Pondham School, Delano High School and Bakersfield College. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Bobbie Jo Hammond and husband Luke Albert. Wanda is survived by her sister Dorothy Holland and husband Gene; son Mark Albert and wife Charlene, grandson Christian Albert and wife Jeannette, great grandson Gavin and great granddaughters Alexandria and Cassandra; grandson Micah Albert and wife Lindsey; daughter Marcia Albert, grandson Scott Bartel and wife Jackie, great granddaughters Emily, Kennedy and Caitlyn, and grandson Daniel Bartel; daughter Robin Albert and Larry Boucher, grandson Jeff Wilhite and wife Chasidy, great granddaughter Cloie and great grandson Zakary; granddaughter Lisa Wilhite and Brian Shepherd and grandson Michael Wilhite. The family would like to express they're thanks to the staff at Shafter Convalescent Hospital for their care and support of Mom. Mom's greatest strength was her limitless love for her children and grandchildren. Wanda passed away January 1, 2007 at the age of 79, surrounded by her children. Peters Funeral Home conducted a graveside service on Friday, January 5th, at 2PM at Wasco Memorial Park.
