Virginia C. Rodriguez 10/21/1959 - 7/5/2010 Virginia Rodriguez of Wasco passed away July 5, 2010 at the age of 50 after a long battle with cancer. She was born October 21, 1959 in Cerralvo, N.L., Mexico to Alfonso and Francisca(Garza) Cavazos. Virginia moved to the Wasco area in 1974 and worked as a farm laborer for many years until she had to retire due to her illness. Virginia is survived by her mother, Francisca. Sons: Edgar Omar and Cristian Alexis Rodriguez. Daughter, Bella Naidelynn Rodriguez. Brothers: Alfonso and Federico Cavazos and Sisters: Guillermina Zuniga, Francisca Cavazos, Blanca Estela Vera, Sylvia Montes, Guadalupe Yolanda Garza and Ernestina Leal. A Funeral Mass was held on July 9, 2010 at St. Therese's Catholic Church in Shafter with interment at Shafter Memorial Park under the direction of Peters Funeral Home.
