Virginia Green was born in Copperhill, Tennessee, on December 8, 1937 to William and Jewel Bice. Virginia was 76 years old when she passed away on April 13, 2014 in Bakersfield, California. She was a resident of Shafter, California. Ginnie, also known as our prayer warrior was a faithful servant with a very strong faith. She loved her church family and attending church brought her much pleasure. She loved everyone she knew with an unconditional love. What gave her the most pleasure was spending time with family & friends and going out to eat. Her favorite activities were shopping, bowling and card games. Virginia is survived by her brothers Michael Bice (Nancy), and Donny Bice; her sisters Pamela Harris (Harold), Sandy Hill (David); and best friend Juanita Ortiz. She is preceded in death by her husband Lester Green; parents William and Jewel Bice; sister, Linda Mullan; and brother, William Bice Jr. A graveside service will be held at Shafter Memorial Park on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 10am.
