Vedra (Bowles) Bilbrey was born and raised in Wasco, Ca, where many knew her as "Dodae". Vedra attended local schools and graduated from Wasco High. She met the love of her life, Terry Bilbrey when they were 17 years old at a party. They were inseparable since that fateful evening. Vedra was a talented woman, who was an expert at embroidery. She made baby blankets, table cloths, and scarfs. She began working at the local Wasco Kmart when it first opened and was given a special title for her position. Dodae became the Layout Representative for the store. Dodae loved her job at Kmart and enjoyed spending her time off with family. Dodae had a loving personality which drew a lot of special people into her life, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dodae entered eternal life on December 25, 2018. Vedra is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Terry N. Bilbrey; children, David S. Bilbrey, Terry N. Bilbrey Jr.; sisters, Vonda, Velrie, Veann; brother, Vance; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Veryl Bowles.
