Treba Dell Grissom was born April 18, 1926 to Amy Faye (Ward) and Circus William Pickens in Arkansas. She lived in Arvin for over 50 years, working for over 30 years at Kern County Child Protective Services as a social worker. Treba is survived by her children, 5 sons, Roger, Russell, Bobby, Ronald and Carrie; 2 daughters, Carolyn Livsey and Mary Ann Grissell; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 husbands. A service will be held on Tuesday, May 5 at 10am in the outdoor chapel at South Kern Cemetery, Arvin for Treba Dell Grissom, age 89, who passed away April 20, 2015 in Bakersfield. A visitation will be held at Arvin Funeral Home on Monday, May 4 from 4pm until 8pm.
