Thomas Gail (Scotty) Lund was born on June 22, 1926 in Fountain Green, Utah to Christian Mortensen Lund and Annie Laura Hunter Lund, the 10th of 10 children. Thomas passed away quietly in his sleep on January 17, 2016 at the age of 89. Thomas married Agnes Archibald on June 4, 1946. They lived in Utah and California, the last 55 years in Southern California. They retired full time to Landers in 1991. He worked for the City of Costa Mesa for 25 years, retiring in the mid 1980's. Thomas is survived by Agnes his wife of 70 years; two children, John Lee Lund (Barbara) of El Monte, California and Barbara Ann Westbrook (Robert) of Joshua Tree, California; grandchildren Shane William Lund and Sandra Nicole Westbrook and five great-grandchildren, Khrystina Lund, Karina Lund, Kayleigh Lund, Jadyn Blair-Westbrook and Kaleb Lund and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents; siblings Beatrice, Royal, Laura, Earl, Robert, Ray, John, Arthur, Donna; and his grandson, Christian Alan Westbrook. A viewing and graveside service will be held at Joshua Tree Memorial Park in Joshua Tree, California on Monday, January 25, 2016 beginning at 10:00 am with burial at 11:00 am
