Terry James Kelly was born July 10, 1931 in Cogar Oklahoma. He was called home to be with the Lord August 21, 2009. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Margaret White, father George Kelly, infant son Terry Dean Kelly and his in-laws, W.D. and Johnnie Mae Milam. Terry proudly served his country in the 1950 - 1953 Korean war. He was subsequently wounded and received the distinguished Purple Heart as one of many medals received for his dedicated service. Terry moved to Shafter in 1956 and met his bride of 51 years, Patsy Nadene. They had four children, Karen Lynne, Terry Dean, Marlene Michelle and Nancy Renee. The three girls grew up, got married and began living their own lives. Terry is survived by his beloved wife Patsy Kelly and their three daughters; Karen and husband Chuck Hussey, Marlene and husband Jamie Stewart and Nancy and husband Martin Valenzuela. They gave "PAPA" nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Our family would like to say a "special" THANK YOU, to the Optimal Hospice Care nursing staff members, Tonya, Sandra and Alma as well as Ministerial staff member Ken. They took excellent care of Papa for us. We pray God's "GREATEST BLESSINGS" for all of you, you are the greatest!!!
