Teresa F. Thompson of Bakersfield lived a wonderful life and went to meet her Lord and Savior on the morning of February 15, 2010 at the age of 95. She was born in Bakersfield California on June 26, 1914 to Louisa (Guerrera) and Angelo Fasce. Married her wonderful husband Robert Thompson in 1935 and were married 59 years; they had two beautiful children. In her earlier years Teresa would take her grandkids out fishing and camping whenever there was a chance; was once a Sunday School Teacher at the Oildale1st Baptist Church and loved cooking Sunday meals for the family. She had a green thumb that worked her garden year around, she loved the Lord with all her heart and it is thru Him she was able to live and care for herself until the age of 93. Teresa F. Thompson was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert (1994); brother Victor Fasce (1998); and daughter Thelma Thompson (2002). She is survived by her son Walter Thompson and wife Janet; William Thompson, Cathy Morgan, Tami Burleson, Cindy Luna, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank to the caring staff of Emeritus Assisted Living and Hoffman Hospice, with a warm embrace for Michelle Stewart and Mariezen Ubay. A graveside service will be held for Teresa Thompson Thursday February 18, 2009 at 2pm at Wasco Memorial Park with Pastor Joseph Cardamone of Grace Community Church officiating.
