Sylvia Gonzalez passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at the age of 76.

Sylvia was born to Antonio and Maria Gonzalez on September 15, 1947 in Cerralvo Nuevo León Mexico. she was the second child of eight children born. Alberto Gonzalez, Gregoria Gonzalez (RIP),Eustolia Gonzalez, Navor Gonzalez, Antonio GonzalezJr. , Diana Gonzalez(RIP), & Marivel Torrez

Sylvia met her husband Santiago in 1968 in Cerralvo Mexico. They later married on January 25,1969 and went to settle in McFarland, Ca for almost 30 years. Where they raised 5 children Borjas Gonzalez (RIP), Mary Lou Shaw, Eddie Gonzalez, Araceli Hurley & Santiago Gonzalez Jr.

In addition to being a Dedicated and loving mother and wife she also loved to cook for everyone. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Sylvia joins her husband, Santiago, her son Borjas along with her parents, two sisters and a granddaughter Sarah,all in heaven.

She is survived by daughter, Mary Lou Shaw, and her husband, Paul Shaw, son Eddie Gonzalez, and his wife Maria Acosta, daughter Araceli Hurley, and her husband David Hurley, and her youngest son Santiago Gonzalez Jr and his wife Kristi Gonzalez.

Along with all her grandkids, Katie Burt and her husband, Blake Burt, Megan Shaw, Daniel Shaw, Lauren Shaw, Adam Gonzalez, Carolyn Gonzalez, Elizabeth Gonzalez, Olivia Gonzalez, Alexandria, Gonzalez, and Rebekah Hurley. Then she also had one great grandson, Greyson Shaw.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 4th 2023
