Stella Salazar was born in Tulare, California on April 26, 1964 to Catarino Florez and Otilia (Gomez) Salazar. Stella enjoyed helping her family raise their children and was a caregiver to her nieces and nephews for 30 years. She was 50 years old when she passed away on October 26, 2014 in Bakersfield, California. Stella is survived by her sisters Eleanor Sepeda, Mary Chavira, Lupe Salazar, Virginia Hernandez, Debra Perez, Ofelia Salazar, Esther Rivera and Susanna Noriega; brothers John, Emmet and Carlos; Many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Catrino Florez Salazar, Otilia Gomez Salazar and sister Augustina Hena. A memorial service was held at the family residence on Saturday November 8, 2014
