Sonia Garcia Zamora was born November 18, 1964 in Michoacan, Mexico to parents Maria (Castro) and Ezequiel Garcia. She married Guillermo Zamora in Mexico City on January 17, 1987. Sonia was a very social woman, always the life of the party. She loved to be loud and laugh with those she cherished. Sonia always enjoyed going shopping and taking good care of those near to her. She enjoyed cooking for her family, and she was a great cook. She was happiest when she could spend time with her children and grandchildren. Sonia was preceded in death by her parents, Ezequiel and Maria. She is survived by her husband, Guillermo Zamora; her three children, Guillermo Zamora Jr., Ezekiel Zamora and his wife Maribel, and Sonya Zamora; two grandchildren, Debbie and Ariel; and her sisters, Olga, Elva, Lorena, Alejandra and Lizbeth Garcia. A viewing for Sonia was held at Peters Funeral Home on Thursday, May 17, from 2-8pm, with an evening service and Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Therese's Catholic Church on Friday, May 18 at 10am. Father John Fleutch officiated the service and a private inurnment followed.
