Soledad Gaona Diaz was born in Michoacan, Mexico to parents J. Jesus Gaona Bribiesca and Eloisa Diaz Ceja. Soledad was a wonderful mother who appreciated her home and family. She was happiest when she listened to music and sang to her hearts content. Soledad enjoyed crocheting on her spare time. She entered eternal life on February 14, 2019 in Delano with her family at her bedside. Soledad is survived by her husband, Rafael Rodriguez; children, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Maria Elena Rodriguez, Juana Rodriguez, Manuel Rodriguez, Soledad Rodriguez, Rosalba Rodriguez; brothers, Gilberto Gaona, Antonio Gaona; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, J. Jesus Gaona Bribiesca and Eloisa Diaz Ceja. A Mass of a Christian Burial will by officiated by Father Raul A. Sanchez Flores Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 10am at St. John's Catholic Church in Wasco, Ca. A viewing will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 4-8pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home in Shafter, Ca. Burial will follow Mass at Wasco Memorial Park. Soledad Gaona Diaz nació en Michoacán, México. Sus padres J. Jesús Gaona Bribiesca y Eloisa Diaz Ceja (fallecidos). Soledad fue una madre maravillosa que amaba su hogar y su familia. Ella era muy feliz cuando escuchaba música y cantaba desde el fondo de su corazón. Soledad disfrutaba del bordado en su tiempo libre. Entro a la vida eterna el 14 de febrero de 2019 rodeada de su familia en la ciudad de Delano. A Soledad le sobreviven su esposo, Rafael Rodríguez; sus hijos: Guadalupe Rodríguez, Maria Elena Rodriguez, Juana Rodriguez, Manuel Rodriguez, Soledad Rodríguez, Rosalba Rodríguez; sus hermanos: Gilberto Gaona, Antonio Gaona; muchos nietos, bisnietos, sobrinos. Sus restos serán velados el martes, 19 de febrero de 2019 de 2 a 8 pm en la casa funeraria Peters en Shafter. Ahí mismo se llevará a cabo el Santo Rosario a las 6pm . La misa de despedida será oficiada por el padre Raul A. Sanchez Flores el miércoles, 20 de febrero de 2019 a las 10am en la iglesia católica de San Juan en Wasco, Ca. Finalmente su entierro será en el panteón Memorial Park de la ciudad de Wasco.
