Simon Sanchez Sr. was born in Taylor, Texas on February 18th of 1932 to Felipe and Francisca Sanchez. He came to Arvin, California in 1951, where he met his wife Rosie Louise Segobia. They were blessed with 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. He was employed by Stoller Farms for 20 years and Gideon Goeing Citrus Farms for 41 years. He enjoyed being with family and friends. He is preceded in death by Rosie, Sandra, and Simon Jr.
