Sheila was born in Lodi Ca. to Delbert and Evalene Slater on Oct. 24, 1950. The family moved to Bakersfield and Sheila graduated from BHS. She loved the mountains and worked at Yosemite National Park for 7 years. Sheila married Darrell Beller in 1976. She enjoyed her work as a payroll admin. for JTS Construction, in fact she kept working up to the time of her passing on Sept. 12, 2016. Sheila loved chili cook off competitions and long motorcycle rides. Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister and her only son Dustin. She is survived by her brothers, Leslie (Mary) Slater, Randy (Debbie) Slater, and Rodney (Penny) Slater, all of Bakersfield. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 20, from 5-8 pm at Peters Funeral Home in Shafter.
