Sergio Ernesto Ocampo March 24, 1985 – April 9, 2011 Sergio Ernesto Ocampo was born in Jalisco, Mexico to Sergio and Herminia (Alvarado) Ocampo. Sergio and his family came to Wasco when he was 3 years old; he attended Wasco local schools and graduated from Wasco High School in 2003. Sergio loved listening to music and enjoyed playing the accordion, he also enjoyed being outdoors, especially going hunting and fishing with his friends. He loved to cruise around in his truck and be out around town. He was very social, outgoing and adventurous; he enjoyed meeting new people, he was very generous man and always willing to help others. Sergio enjoyed spending time with his family especially playing with little brother Tony. Sergio is preceded in death by his grandparents; Antonio and Carmen Alvarado, Eduardo and Guadalupe (Rivera) Ocampo, cousin, Eddie Ocampo; uncle, Ramon Ocampo, and Alcaria Ocampo and his great granpa Asencion Ocampo and Francisca (Rivera). He is survived by his parents, Sergio and Herminia (Alvarado) Ocampo; brothers, Gamaliel , Fabian, and Tony; sister, Yesenia . Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at St. John's Catholic Church on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 7pm for Sergio Ernesto Ocampo, age 26, of Wasco, who passed away April 9, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 10am at St. John's Catholic Church. Father John Fluetsch will officiate and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park.
