Sarah Katherine Ogle was born April 15, 1919, in Riverside, California. She married Charles Ogle and they moved to Shafter in about 1940, living in Shafter until the couple's retirement in 1978. Upon retirement Sarah and Charles moved to Morro Bay, then to the Phoenix area, and then to Tehachapi, finally settling in Bakersfield. Sarah enjoyed golfing and traveling. Sarah was preceded in death by her son, Donald; her husband Charles (2004); mother, Zelma and step-father, Elmo Parks; Daughters-in-law, Donna and Linda Ogle. She is survived by her sons, Jack Ogle of Shafter, and his children, Scott, Marty and Tassie; and Mike of North Dakota, and his children, Heather and Micah.
