Sara was born on July 25, 1985, in Bakersfield, CA. Sara passed away on June 6, 2012, in Delano. She was 26 years old at her untimely death. She attended St. John's Catholic School, Thomas Jefferson Middle School, Wasco High School and recently, Independent High School. One of her goals was to receive her high school diploma; she received it a few weeks ago and was proud of her achievement. As a child, Sara enjoyed playing softball and watching football; the Dallas Cowboys were her favorite team. Those who knew Sara enjoyed hearing her laugh, seeing her smile, or just listening to all her stories. She truly lived life to the fullest and she had no fear. She will be missed deeply by her 11-yr old son, Joseph; newborn son, Jonathan; parents Cynthia Arismendez and Manuel "Manny" Munoz; and sister, Katheryn Virrey. Grandmother Ernestine Villarreal and her many aunts, uncles, and cousins will also grieve her death and miss her terribly. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Angela and Manuel Munoz; and her great-grandparents who babysat her as a toddler, Cecelia and Jose Villarreal. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Thursday, June 14 at 6:30 p.m., Peters Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Friday, June 15 at 10:00 a.m., St. Johns the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wasco. Fr. John Fluetsch will officiate and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday, June 14 from 2pm to 8pm at Peters Funeral Home.
