Santiago Aguilar was born March 18, 1918 in Atoyac, Guerrero, Mexico to Juana (Martinez) and Dionisio Aguilar. He worked in agriculture for over 60 years for various farms. Santiago had been a resident of Wasco for 14 years. Santiago was preceded in death by his wife, Amalia Negrete; son, Hector Aguilar; grandsons, Marcos Antonio Araujo, Mario Andres and Benigno Andres; and great-grandson, Alejandro Jonas Torres. Santiago is survived by his children, Alicia Campos, Javier Aguilar, Manuel Aguilar, Luis Aguilar and Esther Aguilar; 41 grand children, 56 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Holy Rosary will be recited Wednesday, September 17 at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home, Wasco for Santiago Aguilar, age 96, of Wasco who passed away September 11, 2014 in Delano. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 18 at 10am at St. John's Church. Fr. Raul will officiate the service and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park
