Salome Q. Moreno was born January 28, 1955 to Abel and Maria (Carranza) Moreno in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She came to California living in Modesto before moving to Wasco in 1979. Salome married her husband, Vicente Moreno in 1979. She worked for Armstrong Nursery, Bolthouse, and Premium Packing. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed playing with them. Salome was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church. Salome is survived by her husband of 29 years, Vicente Moreno; was the loving mother to her son Abel Moreno; and her daughters, Linda Moreno and husband Miguel and Pristina Moreno and husband Jose; loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, Anabel, Johnny, Elizabeth, Aleena, Destiny, Monique and Anthony. She is also survived by brother, Manuel Quintero; sisters, Eva, Teresa and Carmen Quintero; as well as many loving family members, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. There will be a funeral service for Salome Q. Moreno on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 10am in St. Johns Catholic Church. Father John Fluetsch will officiate the service and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home Chapel Saturday April 26 and Sunday, April 27 from 2-8pm. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will take place Sunday, April 27, at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home Chapel.
