Sally Maria Ramona Vera, age 67, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025, in Wasco, California. She was born on June 9, 1958, in Roma, Texas, to parents Eliborio and Juana Vera.
Sally was a devoted Christian, a published poet, and a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend to those who knew her. She was known for her creativity and love of music and art in her youth. She enjoyed sharing her many poems and drawings with family and friends. As she grew older, her faith became her greatest comfort, and she shared her testimony of God's grace and mercy with those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Rosemary Vera, her brother, Miguel Vera, and four siblings who died in childhood. She is survived by her son, James Vera, his fiancée, Juana Raya; her brothers, Lupe and Jose Vera; her sister, María Beltran; her brother-in-law, Frank Beltran; many nephews and nieces; and friends. Sally will be missed by those who love her, but they are comforted in knowing she "fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith" in her Lord Jesus Christ.
