Sally Juanita “Salad” Leist March 13, 1932 – May 11, 2026 Sally Juanita “Salad” Leist, age 94, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Monday, May 11, 2026, in Conway, Missouri. She was born on March 13, 1932, in Tennessee to George Canada and Jessie Beatrice Long. Sally was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured her family above all else. She was the loving wife of Roy Edward Leist, with whom she shared 39 years of marriage. Together they built a large and loving family. She was the proud mother of eight children and is survived by five children, 20 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, and more than 30 great-great-grandchildren. Sally will be remembered for her strength, love, and dedication to her family. She leaves behind many cherished memories that will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her.
