Ruth Camarillo Nicklas was born September 22, 1946 in Mexico. Eleven hours after birth, Ruth was adopted by Amador and Elena Camarillo. In 1957 the family moved to Texas. Several years later they moved to Needles where Ruth attended and graduated high school. After graduating from high school, Ruth and her parent moved to Wasco. In 1973 Ruth met and married her sweetheart Albert C. Nicklas in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1979 the couple was blessed with a daughter, Evelin Jennifer Nicklas. Ruth remained in Wasco with her daughter until her passing. Ruth was known for her many years as a medical assistant with Dr. Hallock and the Wasco Health Clinic. She then finished her career working with Carol Funk Hamilton Chiropractic as the office manager for seventeen years. Ruth is survived by her daughter Evelyn Jennifer and daughter in-law Christina Anderson. She also leaves behind her best friend of thirty-five years, James Harrison. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Albert. She leaves behind many friends and will be greatly missed. Ruth went to be with the Lord, peacefully surrounded by loved ones, in her home on October 18th 2016. In accordance to her wishes there were no services.
