Ruth Irene Hensley March 31, 1929 – March 3, 2016 Ruth Irene Sullivan was born on March 31, 1929 in to Lewis Robert Sullivan and Lavada Jewel Steel. She was born and raised in Wayne, Oklahoma. In 1945, Ruth met the love of her life Odas Hensley. They had 3 beautiful children together; Connie Price, Jerretta Baker, and Tim Hensley. Lamont, California, became the family's permanent home. Ruth devoted her life to her family and was a natural homemaker. Ruth enjoyed crochet, cooking, and reading as well as, planting and looking at flowers. On March 3, 2016, Ruth past away. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Odas Hensley. Ruth is survived by her 3 children, Connie Price, Jerretta Baker, and Tim Hensley and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 5PM at Arvin Funeral Home. There will be 10AM service at Apostolic Tabernacle church in Lamont on Thursday, March 10, 2016 followed by a graveside.
