March 3, 1931 – October 31, 2005
Rudy was born in Bakersfield, California and resided here most of his life. He served in the Air Force from 1951-1955 and was a Korean War veteran. Rudy served over 30 years in the postal service and retired in 1997. Rudy is survived by his daughters, Carolina and Maggie Munoz. Special girls Perla, Marlen and Madelin. Also survived by his sister, Alice Periera and brothers, Sammy, Joe, Paul, Bobby Munoz and their spouses, several nieces and nephews. Rudy is preceded by his parents, Apolinar and Jesus Munoz. Brothers Lupe, Twins Sal and Manuel, Steven. Sisters, Esther, Margaret, Carmen and baby Angelina. Rudy was a giving man who never turned anyone away. His girls were the joy of his life and although he didn't get to meet his 1st grand-baby, he couldn't have been prouder. Rudy was a great daddy and brother and will truly be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary on Wednesday, November 2, 2005, from 3-9 pm, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary said at 7 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on Thursday, November 3rd, at 10:30 am. Father Chummar will officiate and Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
