Ruben Santiago Santos was born July 11, 1994 in Bakersfield, CA, to parents Monica Santos and Rafael Santos. Ruben was a loving and generous person; he had a big heart and was always giving. Ruben was dependable for his family, he was reliable and always helping out with his sister. Ruben was protective and a passionate person. He attended Shafter schools and enjoyed playing sports, baseball and softball were some of his favorites, and Ruben was a gifted athlete. His favorite sports teams to watch were the Panthers, Dodgers and the Thunder. He will be missed by his family and friends who dearly loved him. Ruben is survived by his parents, Monica Santos and Rafael Santos; brother, Ralphie and his wife Lauren Santos; sister, Francheska Santos; and his niece, Ellanae.
