IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rosenda
Landois
March 1, 1924 – January 22, 2015
Rosenda was born on March 1, 1924 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Gregorio Guerra and Sofia Gonzalez. Rosenda was a teacher in Mexico before moving to Wasco in 1964. Even though she was unable to teach after moving to Wasco; she never stopped being an educator to many children. Rosenda and Armando Landois had eight amazing children together. Some would say they are great children because Rosenda taught them to be hard working, loyal citizens. Like her children, Rosenda was also a hard worker. She started her day between 4 and 5am, often wrestling in the kitchen trying to make lunch for a long day out in the fields. Everyone knew the first item in her lunch bag would be a coke-a-cola. Rosenda always took care of others before herself and was extremely loyal to those around her. She loved traveling to Mexico and Texas to visit family, which included her sons, daughters, sisters and brothers. Rosenda never traveled light, habitually bringing gifts, oranges, almonds, and candy to her family in Mexico and Texas. Rosenda passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 22, 2015 at 90 years old. She will be missed and is loved by her entire family. Rosenda is survived by her sons; Armando Landois Sr., Gerardo Landois Sr., Carlos R. Landois Sr., Luis L. Landois Sr., and Alberto Landois Sr.; daughters; Teresa Landois, Blanca L. Duhart, and Ludy Landois; 20 grandchildren, 31 great- grandchildren; and 1 great-great- grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Armando Landois who passed away January 1983; grandson, Carlitos Landois Jr. A visitation was held Saturday, January 4, 2015 from 4-8pm at Peters Funeral Home chapel in Wasco, California with a recitation of the holy Rosary at 6pm. A burial followed in Mexico.
