Rosalie K. Lott, a 25-year resident of Yucca Valley, died July 31, 2010, at home. She was 90 years old. The daughter of Joseph Kashuba and Rose Kashuba, she was born Oct. 22, 1919. A homemaker, she was married to Alfred Lott for 45 years. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking, baking and spending time with all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death 25 years ago; Mrs. Lott also was preceded in death by daughter Penny Hawley six years ago and grandson Scott Lott 11 years ago. She is survived by daughters Terry DeShane of Yucca Valley, Suzy Pewterbaugh of Sherwood, Ark., Judith Carter of Montrose, Pa., and Phyllis Lott of Binghamton, N.Y.; sons Robert Richard Lott of Cathedral City and Alfred Lott of Corona; grandchildren Samantha DeShane of Oakland, Calvin Lott of Palm Springs, Cherine Lewis of Tennessee; Robert Pewterbaugh of Jacksonville, Ark., Electa Sue King of Jacksonville, Ark., Chad Hawley of Florida and Melody Lott of Las Vegas, Nev.; and nine great-grandchildren. The viewing will be private. A service will be held at 1 p.m. today, Aug. 4, at Wiefels Funeral Chapel in Yucca Valley, Father Roach officiating. A private inurnment will be held.
