Rosa Maria Garcia was born in Colton, California on November 26, 1935 to Anthony Padilla & Delfina (Diaz) Padilla. She married David Garcia and raised their 4 children. Rosa was a homemaker for 51 years. Rosa was 77 years old when she passed away on July 18, 2013 in Delano, California. She was a resident of Shafter, California. She is survived by her husband David Garcia; children Steve Garcia, Jenny Vera; grandchildren Stephanie Castillo, Steve Garcia, Ruby Garcia, Sabrina Garcia, Angel Rodriguez, Angelina Rodriguez; grandchildren Stephanie Castillo, Steve Garcia, Ruby Garcia, Sabrina Garcia, Angel Rodriguez, and Angelina Rodriguez; brothers Anthony Padilla, Raymond Padilla, Florentino Diaz, Manuel Diaz; sisters Jenny Padilla, Julia Padilla, Virginia Diaz, Ophilia Diaz. Preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Delfina (Lopez) Padilla; children Margie Garcia, Jeannie Garcia; brothers Tony Padilla, Steve Padilla, Arthur Padilla; sisters Nelly Padilla and Jessie Diaz A Memorial service will be held at Griffith Avenue Baptist Church of Wasco on Friday August 2, 2013 at 6pm.
