Obituary

Ronald Glenn Wright was born July 20, 1940 in Coshocton, Ohio to Harold and Dorothy (Sinner) Wright. The family moved to Newark, California in 1947 where Ronald was raised and graduated from Washington High School. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1960 in Camp Pendleton, California earning the rank of Lance Corporal and was honorably discharged in 1962. Ronald married Linnie Marie Bowles September 7, 1960 in Wasco, California at First Church of the Nazarene and they made Wasco their home. He worked for the Wasco Tribune from 1962 to 1963, then for Lyle Williams Water Wells for 18 years and retired as head maintenance man from Jackson and Perkins after 22 years. Ronald enjoyed fishing at the aqueduct and working in his garden. Ronald was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. He was a great protector and provider, respected by many. "Ronald was the love of my life, best friend and biggest part of my life." Ronald Glenn Wright is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Joslynn and special dog Lady Bug. He is survived by his wife Linnie; children, Cynthia Wagner and husband Rocky of Orland, Rhonda Halvorson and husband Rob of Wasco, Glenn "Butch" Wright and wife Kim of Orland; 11 grandchildren and 7 ½ great-grandchildren; and dog-son, Sam. At Ronald's request there will be no services.
