IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald Larue
, Sr.
November 8, 1952 – November 26, 2022
Ronald La Rue was born on November 8th, 1952, at 6 AM in Lancaster California to Sidney Steve and Margaret La Rue. That blessed morning he was born alongside his twin brother Donald.
Ronald spent the entirety of his life in Wasco. Attending the local schools and growing up in the Labor Camp with his 10 siblings: Linda, Donald, Raymond, Cynthia, Rick, Norma, Tony, Alex, Renee, and Michael. Eventually moving to the infamous D street house that everyone has come to know and love.
In 1977 Ronald married Cecilia Perez and had 3 wonderful children. Ronald Jr (43), Ronica (38) and Lisa (34). He was a hardworking man that dedicated 20 plus years to Jackson Perkins Roses (Bear Creek) up until he could no longer work due to health reasons. As a father, Ronald enjoyed spending time with his children by coaching both t-ball and baseball during their youth. Engaging with us kids by being his goofy self, watching cartoons or trying to make us watch his black and white western television shows.
One of Ronald's passions in life was sports. He was a lifelong fan of the San Diego Chargers and the Los Angeles Angels. But his greatest passion of all was being a grandpa to Madison and Emma. Becoming a grandpa gave Ronald a newfound love of life and a seemingly new sense of purpose. He was a dedicated family man who split his time in helping take care of the girls at his daughter's house and going back to his mother's house to be with his brothers and sisters. He loved all and gave all.
Anyone that knew him knew that Ronald was a crazy character, fun loving guy and a dedicated hardworking man that loved his family. Especially those grandkids. He was an amazing father, brother, and uncle. But most of all he was an even more amazing grandpa.
Ronald was called home on November 26th, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents Steve and Margaret, twin brother Donnie and brother Raymond.
