Robylee Butler Del Rio Mar 20, 1922 - Nov 14, 2009 Robylee Butler was born in Harrisburg, Illinois to parents Letta and Roscoe Butler. As a railroad worker, Roscoe relocated his family to Bakersfield two years later, where Robylee lived for the remainder of her life. She married Joseph Stanley Chaffin prior to WW II and had 3 sons while living in Oildale. Stan passed away in 1957. Robylee remarried to Jack Del Rio and the pair raised their sons in Bakersfield. Jack preceded her in death in 2002. Robylee worked for many years as a cosmetologist, instructor and shop manager. Robylee is survived by her sister Geraldine Felty of Hayward, CA and her 3 sons, Michael of Rigby ID, Patrick of Oriental, NC and Kirk of Bakersfield. Robylee was loved by her 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Graveside Service is scheduled for Robylee Del Rio, age 87, of Bakersfield, Friday, November 20, 2009 - 1pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Father Ralph Belluomini officiating. Visitation will take place Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 5 to 8 pm at Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary Chapel. The family request, in lieu of flowers, a small donation to a charity of choice in the name of Robylee Del Rio be made.
