Robert Edward Truett, a lifelong resident of California and 15-year resident of Yucca Valley, passed away on Oct. 8, 2011, in Big Bear. He was 47 years old. The son of William Gerald Truett and Judith Leone Larsen, he was born Nov. 7, 1963, in Inglewood, California. Mr. Truett was a UPS freight driver for 25 years. He was a member of E Clampus Vitus and Teamsters Local 63. His hobbies included working on his Jeep, remote-control airplanes, RVing, camping, and telling jokes. He loved all animals and the Rams. His uncle Jerry Larsen preceded him in death in 2009. Mr. Truett is survived by wife Cheryl Truett of Yucca Valley, parents William and Judith Truett of Yucca Valley, brother William Truett Jr. of Perris and sister Cindy Stuwe of Utah. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Nov. 5 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 56885 Onaga Trail in Yucca Valley.
