Bobby was born on November 5, 1958 in Matador, Texas to Felipe and Maria Narcissa Gutierrez Rodriguez. He graduated in 1977 from Sunnyside High School. Shortly after he enlisted with the United States Army serving his country faithfully. At his return Bobby worked in the medical field. He was a very kind hearted person. Bobby enjoyed the beach, camping, walking and loved to go out and eat. He often invited us to join him to treat us. Although he was not affiliated with any one denomination he did maintain a close relationship with our Lord. He knew and walked in his ways to profess the love and truth of Christ. Bobby is survived by his brothers, J.J. Rodriguez from Modesto, CA, Jose Andres (Bacilia) Rodriguez from Pasco, WA, Abel (Eva) Rodriguez from Ceres, CA, Amadeo Rodriguez from Idaho, Robert (Minevra) Vidaurri from Pasco, WA; sisters Gloria (Danny) Palomo from Bakersfield, CA, Grace (Eliazar) Garza from Sunnyside, WA, Oralia (Raul) Vidaurri from Sunnyside, WA, Linda Rodriguez; and several nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents Felipe and Maria Narcissa Gutierrez Rodriguez; sister, Rosie Gonzalez and brother Rudy Rodriguez. Funeral Service will be held at Peters Funeral Home in Shafter on Thursday November 16, 2017 at 10:30am followed by internment at the Bakersfield National Cemetery at 1:15pm.
