Robert Justo Marines was born January 31, 1978 to Justo and Margaret (Sanchez) Marines, Jr. in Wasco and has been a life long resident. He attended Wasco elementary schools and graduated from Wasco High School with the Class of 1996. While in high school, Robert played football and later coached for the Bengal football team for several years. Robert and Jennifer Kates were married January 18, 1997. Robert worked at various jobs until he began his career with Paramount Farms. He had been employed as an electrician for the last eight years. Robert loved singing, dancing, going off-roading on his ATV and barbecuing with family and friends. Being with family and friends was the most important part of his life and he wanted to get together for any occasion. Robert is survived by his wife, Jennifer Marines; children, Robert Justo, Jr. and Cera; parents, Justo and Margaret Marines; grandmother, Lupe Sanchez; sisters, Renee Marines and husband Humberto Sigala and Stephanie Boisselle and husband, Nicholas; parents-in-law, Rosa Bronkema and husband Don and David Kates and wife Dana; and many other loving family members including, aunts, uncles and cousins. His grandparents, Toribio Sanchez and Justo and Petra Marines and uncle Randy Marines preceded Robert in death. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 3, 2009 at 10am at Westside Family Fellowship Church for Robert Marines, age 31, of Wasco who passed away March 28, 2009 in Mojave. Pastor John Ross will officiate the service and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 2, from 2pm to 8pm at Peters Funeral Home
