Recitation of the Holy Rosary was held Tuesday, November 07, 2006 at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home, Wasco for Ricky Pete Villareal, age 47, who passed away November 1, in Bakersfield. Mass of the Christian Burial was said Wednesday, November 8, at 10am at St. John's Church. Father John Fluetsch officiated the service. A visitation was held Tuesday, November 07, 2006 from 2pm –8pm. Inurnment was private. Ricky was born February 23, 1959 in Phoenix, Arizona to Santiago and Beatriz (Juarez) Villareal. They moved to Wasco when he was a young child and he attended local elementary schools and Wasco High School. He loved music and being a DJ. He was also the bass player in the band "Mixed Company" of Wasco. He was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed working on cars. His father, Santiago Villareal and sister, Lupita Procela preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother Beatriz Juarez of Picacho, Arizona; sons, Richard Pete Villareal, Jr. and Andrew Villareal; daughters, Guadalupe "Lupita" Villareal and April Trujillo; step-son, Richie Dominguez and step-daughter Cece Dominguez; all of Bakersfield; sister, Sylvia Procela; and brother, Alfred Procela, Jr. He was a loving son, father and grandfather and leaves many other loving family members, including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
