Ricky was born in Port St. Joe, Florida on September 14, 1957 to Georgia Lee Tull and R. W. Maness. He was married to Becky Tannehill and together they raised 3 sons in Shafter. Ricky enjoyed spending time with his family and adored his grandchildren. He loved hunting deer, quail, dove and fishing at the lake making memories with his family. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday June 21, 2018. Ricky is survived by his mother Georgia Maness; his wife of 39 years Becky; sons Rusty girlfriend Jennifer Wood, Jonathan and his wife Misty Knoeb-Maness, and Nicholas and his wife Janet Maness; grandchildren Joshua, Justin, Megan, Isaiah, Aliah and Bella; sisters Debbie Lewis and Carol Wehunt; He is preceded in death by his father R.W. Maness. Funeral Services will be held at Peters Funeral Home Chapel in Shafter on Saturday June 30, 2018 at 11am preceded by viewing on Friday June 29, 2018 from 2-8pm at Peters Funeral Home Chapel in Shafter, CA. Reception to follow immediately after the Graveside Service at the family residence.
