Richard Morton Lollar, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend went to be with Jesus on July 16, 2025 at the age of 87.

Richard was born in Albuquerque, NM on November 21, 1937 to Perry and Isabell Lollar. He married Wanda June Waldroop in California November 23, 1961 celebrating 63 years of marriage.  Richard became a Christian in August of 1963 at a Billy Graham Crusade in the Los Angeles Coliseum.  He was a leader and teacher in church and a role model as husband and father to his 4 sons.  He worked in advertising moving the family to Illinois in 1976.  He started a business with Wanda in Downers Grove, IL until they retired.  After retiring they moved back to CA to be near family.

Wanda preceded him in death July 15, 2025.  He is survived by his children Michael and Kathleen, Randall, Scott and Gayle, David and Sheila, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A joint funeral service for him and his bride is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on August 2, 2025 at the First Congregational Church at 5 Real Road, Bakersfield, CA 93309.
