Richard Lee Brown of McAlester, Oklahoma died July 15, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 51. Richard was born to Bill and Caudie (Reel) Brown August 25, 1957 in Bakersfield, California. He graduated from Shafter High School in Shafter, California. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Richard married Betty Struemph March 14, 1983. He worked as an electrical supervisor for Dematic. He enjoyed working and spending time with his family. Richard is survived by his mother, Caudie Brown of Stigler, Oklahoma; his wife, Betty; sons, Kerry Brown, Brett Brown, Kyle Brown and daughter, Sara Brown; brother, Mike Brown and wife Kelley of Bakersfield, California; sisters, Linda Gibson of Stigler, Oklahoma, RaNay and Joe MaCut of Shafter, California; sister-in-law, Mary Crowe and husband Ed of Shafter, California; nieces and nephews: Abram Gibson, William Gibson, Andrew Brown, Laurie Andrews, Christopher Short, Bethany Stidham, Justin Stidham, Jacob Stidham and Jeffrey Stidham and other family and friends.
