Ricardo Salinas Moreno was born in La Blanca, Texas, on April 3, 1918 to Paul and Juanita (Salinas) Moreno. He married his wife Belen in 1939 and raised their four daughters. Ricardo worked in agriculture as a farm laborer for 65 years. He enjoyed coffee in the morning, music and dancing. Ricardo was 90 years old when he passed away on Tuesday March 12, 2013 in Bakersfield, California. He was a resident of Shafter, California for 52 years. Ricardo is survived by his sister Rosa Garza; daughters Mary Garza and husband Pete; Sally Ramos and husband Victor, Lupe Morales and husband David and Petra Macias and husband Florentino Sr. ; 17 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 17 great great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Belen Galviz. A Funeral service will be held at Peters Funeral Home Chapel on Friday March 15, 2013 at 10pm.
