Refugio Quintana Arroyo was born on July 11, 1948 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Miguel and Dolores (Villagomez) Quintana. Refugio was raised in Mexico. She married her husband Matilde Arroyo and they had seven children. She came to Wasco, California with her family in 1999 and she worked as a laborer for 13 years. Refugio love to dance and making many friends. Refugio Quintana Arroyo is preceded in death by her father Miguel Quintana-Carmona and her husband Matilde Arroyo, 2004. She is survived by her mother, Dolores Villagomez-Alonzo; son, Jose Arroyo; daughters, Dolores Tovar, Maria de Los Angeles Arroyo, Rosario Almanza, Teresa Arroyo and Guadalupe Arroyo, six grandchildren. Recitation of the Holy Rosary was held on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at 6pm at St. Johns Catholic Church for Refugio Quinta Arroyo, age 65, of Wasco, who passed away on March 20, 2014 in Wasco, surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 10am at St. Johns Catholic Church. Father John Fluetsch officiated and interment followed at Wasco Memorial Park. Refugio le gustaba mucho bailar y hacer muchas amistades. Refugio Quintana Arroyo es precedida en muerte por su padre, Miguel Quintana-Carmona y su esposo, Matilde Arroyo, quien falleci en el 2004. Le sobrevive su madre, Dolores Villagomez-Alonzo; hijo, Jose Arroyo; hijas, Dolores Tovar, Maria de Los Angeles Arroyo, Rosario Almanza, Teresa Arroyo y Guadalupe Arroyo, seis nietos. El Santo Rosario fue recitado el Domingo, 23 de marzo ala 6pm en la Iglesia Catolica de San Juan para Refugio Quinta Arroyo, de 65 aos, de Wasco, quien falleci el 20 de marzo del 2014 en Wasco, rodeada por su familia. La Misa de Entierro Cristiano fue celebrada el Lunes, 24 de marzo del 2014 a las 10am en las Iglesia Catlica de San Juan. Padre John Fluetsch oficio y el entierro fue inmediatamente en el Cementerio Memorial de Wasco. La Velacin se llevo acabo el Domingo, 23 de marzo, 2014 de 2-5 en la Casa Funeraria Peters.
