Raymon Allen Reaves Jr. was born in Bakersfield on December 2, 1961. He was affectionately known as Allen by everyone who knew him. Allen loved life and had a passion for adventure. He sought thrill in everything he did and everywhere he went. Allen was an avid golfer, fisherman, camper, outdoorsman. He was a patient man with a big heart, who cherished the moments he was able to teach his daughters how to drive, snowboard, fish, hunt, and everyday life. Allen passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones on June 4, 2023.

Allen is survived by his mother, Pat Reaves; daughters, Karen Andersen and husband Johnny, Christy Reaves; significant other, Chelo Meza; grandchildren, Chloe Andersen, Celine Andersen, Adalynn Higuera; sister, Cheryl Stephens; nephew, Taylor Stephens. He is preceded in death by his father, Raymon "Pete" Reaves.
