IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Randall Lloyd
Bergman
April 25, 1956 – February 1, 2010
Randall Lloyd Bergman was born in Alamosa, Colorado on April 25, 1956 to Frances D. (Edmondson) and Donald L. Bergman. He came to California in his mid 20's, he love to listen to music, Bob Dylan was his favorite; he enjoyed playing the harmonica, video games on the computer and studying astronomy. Before he got ill he enjoy his daily 8-mile runs and being physically fit; he was an earthly person who loved animals, he loved to make people laugh, he was outgoing and always had a light hearted good attitude, he was flirtatious with the women, and all of the vendors on his delivery route took a quick liking to Randy and the special personal attention he gave each of them. Randy enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his daughter. Randy was a very nice man and a good father, husband, and friend. When ever possible he spoke about how proud he was to have served our country as a U.S. Marine. Randy had a way of striking up a conversation with anyone, no matter where, he never met a stranger. All who knew him loved him and shared time with him will miss his fun, outgoing and romantic personality. Randy Bergman is survived by his loving and caring companion, Linda Baxter; daughters Carleigh Bergman, Tiffany Brown; son Chad Randall Bergman, grandchildren; previous wife Michelle B. Thomas, many, many friends and acquaintances all of who will miss his tender care, and smile. Military graveside rites for Randall Lloyd Bergman, age 53, of Bakersfield, will be Wednesday, February 10, 2010 - 2:45 PM at Bakersfield National Cemetery (30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd., Arvin, CA). Associated Veterans of Kern County will perform the graveside rites. The family would like to thank Optimal Hospice for all of their attention and care they gave to Randy during his illness and last days.
