Ramon Perez Sianez was born in Yuma, Arizona to Ricardo and Josefina Sianez. He came to Arvin in1948, and worked as a farm laborer for various local ranchers. Ramon enjoyed spending time outdoors with his friends, and going to Eagle Mountain Casino and Las Vegas. Ramon was preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo and Josefina; 2 sisters, Guadalupe Contreras and Enedina Sianez; 3 brothers, Ricardo, Alfredo, and Gilbert Sianez; niece, Valerie Contreras. His is survived by his nieces, Melissa Contreras and Lori Contreras; nephew, Charles Contreras; and his caregiver of over 20 years, Rosa Maria (Aguirre or Aguilar?); and many other family members. An evening service will held at Arvin Funeral Home on Monday, February 25, at 6pm for Ramon Perez Sianez, age 76, of Arvin, who passed away February 18, 2008, in Bakersfield; Pastor Anthony Ortiz of Spirit Filled Church of Arvin officiated and interment the service. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 26 at 10am at St. Thomas's Catholic Church in Arvin; Father Jesus De La Torre will officiated and interment the service. Visitation will be Monday from 4pm – 8pm at Arvin Funeral Home.
