Rafael Pimentel was born October 24, 1940 in Ticuitaco, Mexico to Eloisa (Lopez) and Rafael Pimentel. He grew up in La Piedad and moved to California in 1963. Rafael returned to La Piedad to marry Graciela (Morales) in December 1st 1965. Rafael and Graciela made Wasco their home for the last 20 years. Rafael was a very hard worker and worked for many different farming companies. He always enjoyed visiting his children in Mexico. Rafael was very social and enjoyed spending time with his friends drinking his favorite beverage, Budweiser. Rafael was preceded in death by his wife Graciela (Morales) Pimentel, parents and brother, Jose Pimentel. He is survived by his sons, Rafael Pimentel and Sergio Pimentel and his wife Alicia of Wasco and his daughter Hilda Padilla and husband Rafael of Wasco, 7 grandchildren, Sergio, Elizabeth, Carol Pimentel, Rafael, Ramon, Aaron, and Omar Padilla. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at St. John's Catholic Church on Sunday May 3, 2009 at 6 pm for Rafael Pimentel, age 68 of Wasco, who passed away April 30, 2009 in Wasco, California. Mass of the Christian Burial will be said May 4, 2009 at 10 am. Father Ralph Belloumini will officiate the service and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park
