Rafael Villegas April 6, 1950 – August 1, 2022 Rafael Villegas Jr. was born in Raymondville, Texas on April 6, 1950. Rafael was a great father and wonderful grandfather. He was a devoted Catholic who watched his favorite masses from his parish in Zacatecas. Rafael was a hard worker and provider for his family. He had worked with Jackson & Perkins for over 40 years. His love for gardening did not end after his retirement. He tended his garden at home daily and watched it flourish for many years. Rafael loved music, dancing, singing. He passed away in Bakersfield on August 1, 2022. Rafael is survived by his sons; Johnny Villegas and Ivan Villegas; daughter, Diana Villegas Lopez ( Tomas Lopez); grandchildren; Jose Luis, Natalie, Nathaniel, Jaylene, Noel, Evie' Lyn, Tristan, Jonathan; siblings, Jose Villegas, Maria Magdalena Puente, Maria Teresa Villegas, Juana Gonzalez, Jesus Villegas, Samuel Villegas, Isabel Villegas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Diamantina Salinas Villegas "Muneca"; parents, Rafael Villegas Sr. and Felicitas Leanos Villegas; brothers, Mario Villegas and Joel Villegas.
