Elizabeth Marie Rodrigues and Porfidio C. Hernandez Sr. welcomed their long awaited baby boy Porfidio Carabeo Hernandez Jr., September 7, 2009. They released him into the arms of Our Great and Mighty Lord shortly after on September 8, 2009. All who were waiting to hold Porfidio Carabeo Hernandez Jr., never had the opportunity to, but will hold a special place in their hearts for him. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Fuller Family of Shafter for their generosity and prayers as well as all who donated time, efforts and hard work during this very difficult time. A little angel made such a large impact in the community and is acknowledge with much gratitude by his parents. He is survived by his loving parents; sisters, Makena Marie Hernandez, Makyla Beth Hernandez and Deserae Randy Roque; paternal grandmother, Wenda Casares; maternal grandmother, Corrina Terrill; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside services will be held for Porfidio Carabeo Hernandez Jr., who passed away in UCLA, Friday, September 18, 2009 – 10am at Shafter Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Polley of Valley Bible Church of Shafter officiating.
